SEPTA Suburban Station Retail

AthenianRazak master leases approximately 40,000 square feet of retail space owned by the Southeast Pennsylvania Regional Transit Authority (SEPTA) in Suburban Station. Suburban Station is the daily gateway to the City for thousands of citizens; it is a significant public space worthy of careful planning to create an impressive welcome. The station has been the central station for Regional Rail since its construction in 1930 and sees roughly 100,000 passengers pass through daily.

Since commencement of our master lease in July 2016, we have drafted a shared set of goals and expectations with SEPTA personnel, adjacent building owners and civic organizations. We are weighing new design options and opportunities for additional  tenants to extend the service available to passengers and with an eye toward building long-term value for SEPTA and Philadelphia as a whole.
