Janet Kimbleton Grace serves as DOCOMOMO International Delegate

Janet Kimbleton Grace recently served as a delegate to the DOCOMOMO International Conference held in Finland.  DOCOMOMO is an acronym for the DOcumentation and COnservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the MOdern MOvement. DOCOMOMO promotes the study, interpretation and protection of the architecture, landscape and urban design of this genre.

Janet Kimbleton Grace elected to UArts Alumni Council

Janet Kimbleton Grace, Senior Project Manager at AthenianRazak, was recently elected to the University of the Arts Alumni Council.  Her three year term will end in June of 2015.  During that time she will serve as an ambassador for and representative of the 17,000 University of the Arts living alumni.  The University of the Arts has notable alumni, including Patricia Flannery, actress in TV series “The Office” and Arnold Roth, cartoonist.   The landmark Philadelphia Museum of Art was also designed by UArts Alumni, Julian Abele.  For more information on the Alumni Council, follow this link http://www.uarts.edu/alumni/alumni-council.

AthenianRazak named manager of 83 homes in PA State Park

AthenianRazak has been named manager of 83 single family homes located in Evansburg State Park, a part of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) park system.  Under this long-term contract with the DCNR, we will coordinate maintenance of homes and buildings, many of which are historic, preserving rental value, ensuring resident satisfaction, and marketing and leasing vacant homes when appropriate. Located in Montgomery County, PA, Evansburg State Park follows Skippack Creek and encompasses a quiltwork of cropland, meadows, old fields and mature woodlands, offering significant green space and relative solitude in an urbanized area.

Jacqueline Buhn Participates in CRE Consulting Corps Project in New Orleans

AthenianRazak’s Principal & CEO, Jacqueline Buhn, recently participated in a Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) Consulting Corps trip in New Orleans to lend her expertise to two projects, including one in the Algiers District for which she served as a leader.

The CRE Consulting Corps provides real estate analysis and action plans for municipalities, not-for-profits, government entities, public/private developers, and owners of real property. Jackie regularly participates in these pro-bono projects.
