Janet Kimbleton Grace serves as DOCOMOMO International Delegate

Janet Kimbleton Grace recently served as a delegate to the DOCOMOMO International Conference held in Finland.  DOCOMOMO is an acronym for the DOcumentation and COnservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the MOdern MOvement. DOCOMOMO promotes the study, interpretation and protection of the architecture, landscape and urban design of this genre.

Founded in 1988 in The Netherlands, today it has national chapters in 54 countries and more than 2,000 individual members.  Janet helped to found the Greater Philadelphia DOCOMOMO chapter in 2011.  At this year’s conference, Janet was one of 300 delegates from 30 countries who toured modern sites in Finland and Estonia.
